Artist Biography & Statement

Sandra Pelly (Andrijasevic Baraci)  believes that the art is an expression of the emotion and through her work she tries to capture the range of emotions and experiences that she went through in her life. She tries to draw inspiration from her experiences, memories and people around her and transfer it through the medium into a painting.

Through her work Sandra tries to portray her inner dialogues, conversations that are left lingering inside of her from the past, she expresses her emotions, thoughts and memories. Through recent work, by focusing on portraiture, Sandra attempts to capture the human condition, human nature, the ephemeral, a glimpse of the human soul.

Sandra has her artworks in a number of private collections worldwide. Sandra is a president of Artists' Collective of Melton and member number of online art communities
